The transmuting exercise:

What's your problem?

What are your thoughts about that problem? (what goes through your mind, what are you telling yourself)

How do you feel in relation to that problem?

How would you define yourself in relation to that problem? (I am ...)

How would you define others in relation to that problem? (Others are...)

How would you define the world in relation to that problem? (The world is...)

What's your underlying assumption in relation to this problem? (the bottom line, ex: I'm not good enough to be successful)

What emotion does that bring you? (Anger, Sadness, or Fear?)

What are you compelled to do from that emotion?

What would be the result of that?

Would you love that result?

What do you love?

What emotion does that bring you? (positive of course!)

What are you compelled to do from that emotion?
